What is Swing dancing?

Swing is a form of Jazz and the dance looks a bit like Rock’n’Roll or Jive. It has one name but encompasses many dances…Lindy Hop, Charleston, Jitterbug etc. It started in the 1920’s and was a fusion of African and European dances, with humour and individuality at its heart. It can be danced alone or with a partner. Check out some sites on youtube-
